Hello NM HTF,



I recently accepted a short term position at LANL, so I was seeing if anyone here was local to that area. I'd welcome any tips on places to live (hard because it is so short term).




I also don't think GA and NM have CCW reciprocity, so I'm out of luck there.

How long are you going to be staying in LA? Are you set on living in LA and not else where? Santa Fe maybe? Takes about 45-60 minutes depending what time you're driving and exact locations.

I'll only be there for 2 months.




As far as living in Sante Fe, I can't imagine the rent is cheap enough compared to Los Alamost to justify driving 2 hours every day.
