Lifting twice a week, same as the last 12 months.  Oh, and holding my office chair down with my fat ass!  This part is really important....

In reality, for me, I will add more cardio into my workout once we hear of a date for WW3.  But other than that, I will just continue my mild weekly core workout routine.

Oh and of course throw a little shooting in there on a weekly basis if at all possible.

More cardio.

Gonna try to find a tire to flip, drag, and beat on.

Haven't done crap since the last one. That's after swearing I was a changed man was going to get back to my youth.

Well, I shoot, but I don't run. Or lift. Or cardio? What's this cardio you speak of?

If I were in good shape I wouldn't get to drop like a rock in thick mud at the end and feel my heart pounding out my ears as I lay in the weeds. Where's the fun if no weeds?

Are you xd45shooter on Youtube?  I just watched the W.W.2 video - probably ought to get that chipmunk breathing checked out!  How long is the uncut footage (i.e. how long did it take you, start to finish)?

As for my prep, maybe a pushup or two every few days, and a jog down the hallway.  Boy I hope I can snag a spot and have it workout with my schedule!  Then I'm gonna have the patch tattooed on my shoulder.

LOL no I am XD45shooter on YouTube. I have lost 50 lbs since WWII. I hope to lose another 30 befor the next one. Seems like I heard that there might be a chance for cold weather WW.

As for over all time I would have to go back and look I know it was not fast! This was the heaviest I have ever been weighing in a little over 300lbs.

If that's so, I wish I knew when. I'm about to make out my works call schedule for the whole year! I can "plan around" things I want off for, but it's hard to switch if I happened to be on that weekend.

Good for you!  You moved pretty well for a big guy, honestly - I wouldn't have guessed.  What have you done to cut so much weight?

The first thing I did was to cut out sodas(Dr Peppers) I would drink anywhere from 6 to 8 a day.

Then cut out fast food and started eating better food at home. Not a lot of fried stuff mostly grilled lots of rice.  Started walking again and some running.

The good thing is that once you get the ball rolling, it becomes almost self-perpetuating.

But tell me:  how do you grill your rice?

I watched a couple of vids my brother took at 2.0 and decided I'm bringing a .45 next time.
I had to hit the pistol targets 2 and 3 times for them to fall with the 9.

There was one particular plate, I believe the bowling pin, that had to be hit at the very tip top with the 9mm in order to flop

The rest of them, as long as it was hit somewhere on the top half they would flop

That bring said I'm tempted to use my g22 next year

The square plate on the rack of 6 was the only one that gave my 9mm trouble. Granted I was using cheap light wolf ammo. With good 147 gr fmj it might have been better.

I think 147 +p would be the ticket if you were primarily worried about the square plate. But the recoil might slow you down on the others. I just view it as good training for shooting till the threat ceases to be a threat.

I was actually shooting +p+ FMJ sub gun ammo out of my M&P 9 at WW2, which i though might knock over the plates with a single shot each.  WRONG.....  I got all down, but a couple pf the plates took 2-3 shots and that one goofed up plate took so many hits i quit counting but finally fell.

Although, I recently found this 9mm ammo which actually has 10% more muzzle energy than the NATO 230gr ball 45 ACP!
