SilencerHQ in Bennett does NFA engraving.

Idk if its with a CNC or laser tho. I always thought that your average trophy shop laser engraver would have a hard time getting to that depth, even as small as it is.

The majority of CO2 bench top Laser engravers will not get deep enough to meet the NFA requirement.
YAG Laser from a professional shop will do it.
Otherwise your best bet is still CNC or manual(pantograph) engraver work.

While I agree NFA isn't something to mess with, the .003 is hard to measure, so I don't know if my engraving meets that standard. I had a local trophy/award shop do it in Bellevue right outside of Offutt, and the guy was awesome. $20 and a quick turn around, and it looks fantastic, very professional. I can't imagine how these people can charge $75+ for engraving like some businesses do...

It costs that much bc most of them use a cnc mill. Which requires to part to be dead nuts flat, which u have to spend time to do. Also you need to write the program and convert to gcode so the machine will read it. Once u get that down it can go pretty fast, but still requires time to do.
