This is the thread for it.
As of an hour ago, the Walmart on west Maple (Omaha) has 5.56 ammo (WWB) in quantities. $12/20 seems kinda high though. What's it looking like out there guys? |
I stopped by Cabela's in LaVista yesterday to pick up a couple packs of .22lr ammo I had ordered online (back in April)and had "shipped to store". $25.67 for each bulk pack with tax...
Anyways, they had some very nice Lapua .223 loaded with 77gr. speer bullets for $23.99/20, plenty of 7.62x39 Herters for $5.99/20 and about 50 boxes(2 per person limit... ) of Lapua .22lr MATCH ammo for $9.99 per box of 50. Not much for handgun ammo, some .45ACP for $46/100 rds. and some .40S&W but didn't see the price. They also had Gen M2 non-window PMags on sale for $14.99, which is cheaper than the price for those crappy "Syntec" mags they've been trying to sell. |
Plan on hitting Scheel's and Cabela's Friday, I'll let you guys know.
Guess Ill post here too.
Bps in cb has plenty of 556, independence federal Israeli manufactured. .54 a round 200 round limit. 2 dollars a box cheaper than the GU incidentally. |
Scheels in Lincoln had .223 American Eagle in stock @ $11/20rds. They also had .223 premium/hunting rounds in stock starting at $20/20 on up. They also had .45 ACP in stock.

For anyone in the Blair area, as of 6pm last evening Bomgaars had 4 of the 30 round stripper-clipped boxes of the Fed. American Eagle 5.56 for $18.99 each which would be just over 60cpr after sales tax. First 5.56 I've seen there since last fall, and the cashier said she hadn't seen any .22lr yet...

Cabelas has been spotty too, not much beyond the occasional 50 or 100rd pack for $9. Seem Friday mornings around the time they open is the best chance...

Blair Walmart has at least 30 or so 50-round boxes of Blazer 40 grain solid .22lr at $2.47 each as of 1/2 hour ago.

Right now, all that I am looking for is 22, but so is everyone else.
Talked to a sales gun at Scheels today, and he told me that their 22 rifle sales are hurting because of the lack of ammo. |
Scheel's had all the 40 and 45 you could want, with expensive 223/556, but no 9.
