Halibut is all you can really fish for that time of year. Salmon start running in June. |

You could do spring bear hunting..but it is very expensive for a non resident.. Fall is normal hunting season.
Early April you could do Arctic man...which is a heck of a week of partying and racing/riding sleds by Paxton... |

Late May - all of June is the best time weather wise to visit Alaska. Usually sunny and not a lot of rain.
Still a lot of snow and ice around in April in south central Alaska. That's actually the time I most want to go on vacation because I am so tired of winter but it won't stop. |
