It mostly looks like the usual "berm must be X high or habitable buildings Y distance away" but thought I'd pass it on.

No sarcasm intended, but what is interesting about it?  Is this about the Beruit range off Cushman?

What happened to prompt this resolution?

Not rightly sure, but the borough changing zoning law to make things more restrictive is something I don't appreciate.

So I found out today why the zoning change.  Some jackasses built a range IN a housing area off Brock Rd in North Pole.  Apparently it was legal until the zoning change.  In this case, I can't complain too much because that was a bit of a jackass move.  Legal, yes.  Still a jackass move.

From what I heard, the guy was running carbine classes out of the range and the backstop was lacking.

Just second hand info.

The comments on that article are pretty telling.

Obviously we are all for more ranges; but running carbine classes out of a residential area isn't going to earn the firearms community any friends.

Holy hell, I didn't know it was that bad I was tempted to see if they needed any photo work done back when they started out (I assumed they were way out on CHSR) but I'm very happy I didn't.

Jesus Christ.
