Viper,
What are you seeing for form 4 times now?

Thanks,
Darkop

I had 5 come back in one day. They were sent in anywhere from may-sept and approved within 3 days of each other.

There was one oddity. I had an Eform 4 in draft status that was sent in on 6/21 and approved 6/26.

Dare we hope maybe their getting caught up? I heard they brought on 12 new examiners and that they sorted out the E Form debacle. Really would like to pick up that TBA Can you have been sitting on for ??? months now. My GAP rifle arrives any day now and it seems like a crime to shoot it without the can!

I'm also thinking about sending my Quicksand back to Gemtech and having it converted to a Sandstorm, although it does run good on my Leonidas just not the bolt guns. Decisions, Decisions!

Until that day,
Darkop

My next long gun will be a Sako 42 in .338 LM. An excuse to order a .338 TBA can :-) Which can are you waiting on?

Until that day,
Darkop

338 TBA can
Its at Vipers if you are there
Though Im shooting off of a DTA Covert (338LM) and a custom bolt gun in 300 Norma
I had a TRG42, probably the smoothest trigger I have ever felt in a gun
Just not as comfortable to me as the AI stock (300 NM bolt or the DTA)

I have been reading up on the DTA's, Certainly worth a look when I get to that point! I should have gone with a .338 TBA can but back when I ordered I was going in a different direction. Oh well, by the time I get around to it next winter, hopefully thing will be quicker on the NFA front.

Been a bit busy lately. Well, for some suppressor porn.

Bottom one is the TBA 30BA, Middle is a TBA Ti 338, and a 9mm Beretta PM12S can. The 338 can looked gigantic till i got the 9mm one in. It looks like it should be on a 50 BMG.

Yup. It was started before they shut the e-forms down and once they shut down i wasn't able to enter it as it was in draft mode. I was logged in and said WTF and tried it and it entered it on the 21st. Surprised as shit when i woke up on the 26th and had it sitting in my inbox.

That's  insane! Of course  an anti gun government isn't going to do anything to change this.

Actually they have added a bunch of examiners, and times are coming down a bit.

Still ridiculous though!

It should just be the same quick and easy as a NICS check.  For fucks sake it is pretty much a lot of the same info plus thumbprints and CLEO.  Just add a box for the SOT to check that the CLEO signed, scan it in, scan the thumbs to run with the check, and run it.

10 minutes later you hand over cash and walk out with your toy.

But that would take common sense and not being political dicks about stuff.
