Have a buddy that is wanting to build a lower as a start to an AR.
He lives in Columbus, OH and not far from his place a new gun shop is having a grand opening and has Anderson stripped lowers for $41.99, IIRC. I think that's what he said.
He asked if they are any good and truth be told, I have heard basically nothing about them.
I haven't heard anything negative though.

Thoughts?

They are as good as any. I did a recent 300 AAC build with one and haven't had any issues whatsoever.
