Iowa Firearms Coalition (formerly Iowa Carry)

we worked hand in hand with the NRA to bring Iowans "shall issue" weapons permits as well as the magazine bill that clarifies loaded detachable magazines as being legal. ;)

we are ramping up for some serious work in the 2011 session and we need your support - in spirit, membership, work, and finance. join the group getting things done for you at the capital and elsewhere across the state!!!

I would start talking to all the small and local gunshops to have them start pushing this. One of my ffl's goes as far to signing people up with the money from his transfer fees for them.

get a list of the ffl's and tell them to start pushing this with a bit of education. I think its pretty fucking lazy to bitch about things getting banned and doing a run on ammo and not fork out $35 for the nra

I would suggest you add the Iowa State Rifle and Pistol Association also to your list.

they've never had a political presence in the last ten years. i'm not sure they would be considering a rights support group, but more so a shooting org...

Since GOA is de-facto endorsing IGO, should they still be listed as a gun rights support group? Haven't yet gotten a response from my email to Pratt about IGO's tactics and if they want to un-endorse them.
Edit: Pratt would not take back his full support of the Dorr clan and IGO
