I am considering joining the YMCA. It's the one on Northline road at I-75.  I want to swim everyday. I went to check on prices and the lady there was a bit pushy. She was trying to get me to give them permission to deduct the monthly membership fee from my checking account. I was put off by that. Please tell me about your experiences there; good or bad.
