It feels awesome,
I retired last Thursday

It's going to be a hard transition though, went to 2 Christmas parties with old family friends this weekend, everyone was talking about their jobs and stuff

I have no idea how to fit in in a room full of civilians
The guys I went to school with are all chubby gray and soft, and smoking weed and such

They're not really sure how to handle a 18 year army guy either, it was a tad awkward.

But I'm still happy.

Just gotta find some kind of work now, it's been about 2 weeks since I had to go into work, and I'm losing my mind.

What kind of job are you looking for?

What skills do you have?

Any degrees?

Obviously, you don't have to answer but we can all be on the lookout for something for you.

ROPD chief signed a form 4 for me. It took a few weeks for ROPD to turn around, and BATF rejected it because his job title was missing (quickly remedied, but PITA). Since form 1s are going fast and 199trust had a sale, I have a trust and (hopefully) won't need to ask the chief for anything in the future.
