The revolutionary war predates the city a bit. The Pink Palace Museum is nice and the National Civil Rights Museum may interest you. Nathan Bedford Forrest is buried here, but there isn't much to that park. Elmwood Cemetery puts on tours, it's a slick place.

Zoo, Brooks Museum, Dixon Gallery and Gardens, Botanic Gardens, the Peabody, RangeUSA, food errwurr, etc

The zoo is awesome, just don't go on Tuesday. Sun studio is close to downtown, but away from the Memphis in May shitshow. The Victorian Village on Addams street is definitely worth visiting, the Fire Museum, the Peabody Ducks, I'd say Graceland but the part of town it's in is straight up third world.

Best thing to see in Mempho is "Welcome to Arkansas" or "Welcome to Mississippi" signs.
