Team-
Working on lowers for the group, as discussed in the other thread. Looks like the easiest and best way to get this done is to roll with Arfcom house lowers. Engraving will be on the shooter's right side (opposite the rollmark). Working on artwork, but how many folks want their screen names on the lower? Please only answer the poll if you intend on purchasing, looking for semi-accurate numbers to get to staff. Thanks! |
Not yet, but I would be willing to bet that adding a screen name would add to it.
Standard arf lowers are $107 in the arfstore. |
From my limited experience with CNC engraving, the extra time for actually engraving a screen name under the logo isn't much, but the setup time goes up considerably.
If it's just a logo, you load the file, index the part, then engrave. For additional parts, you just swap parts and index the new part, then engrave. If it's a logo with an individual screen name under the logo, you have to alter the CAD file for each name. |

As for my vote I'm voting for with screen name but I'm happy with and in for either. The real question is are we doing just the tri strar Bfl or the tri star Bfl with the state outline |

Bump for this one. 27 lowers? Anyone planning on purchasing more than one?
Still working on cost, but base price of arf lowers in the store is $107, IIRC |
Shit, I just saw this thread.. I voted for screen name but Im ok with whatever. Patron state of shootin shit would be cool
I most definitely want a TN HTF lower, consider this a commitment to buy! I voted yes for screen name, but that is not a deal breaker for me.

Thanks for doing the leg work. No rush, but do you have a tentative schedule. I just want to be able to put this in my gun budget. |
Schedule will be up to arfcom. Still awaiting response to my last inquiry. Barring better artwork, may just use your avatar or a recreation thereof.

Browsing thru the archives I think Spawn was working on the shirt designs several years ago for our HTF shirts. He may have some leftover stuff.

I sent him a copy of gotigers's avatar to go from, I would imagine it would be relatively easy for someone of his skill level to whip up. |

Does this file work? I tried re creating that avatar. I dont know how cleaned up the image has to be for it to work on engravings. Is there any changes yall want? I can do my best to adjust it as needed. But its currently about 14x8 inches in actual size. The hardest part to me was finding that darn bolt outline thats not solid black to start. http://i63.tinypic.com/2s6wu8h.jpg - full size should be there http://oi68.tinypic.com/29l1nv6.jpg View Quote I like that! |

Does anyone know why pictures from Tinypic do not show up for me? Starting to wonder if its a phone or tablet problem.

I don't generally have any problem viewing pics on my iPhone.

Got my upper built for it for when we can get them and the lower parts kit is in my parts drawer.

Looks like arfcom lowers, waiting on word from JLA on pricing |

I am not sure if I have definitively said in, but I am in for 1 lower.

Thanks y'all. Waiting on latest word from staff on pricing, etc

now to figure out who to use for transfer in tri-cities
anyone here? |

Hey Hank, did you know your link to the arfstore in the OP goes to a youtube vide of a death metal concert?
And you're the first person to catch it. Nice! Sooooooooooo technically not death metal, but a show I went to in Nashville. Good times! |
where in the ARF.Com store are they or will be located? I did a look into AR15 Lower Receivers but only found 2. 1 forged and 1 billet. No other options as far as the Tennessee logo.
That have complete firearms as well, i.e., complete rifles. Looks like the complete lowers may be out of stock as they are not shown, despite a complete lowers category
