Having an arfcom gathering & swap meet? Lord knows we all have gobs of holsters & such we have no further use for. I have ammo for calibers I no longer have guns in as well. Thoughts? Might make an easy way to get better/more gear w/o paying for it as well as thinning out the junk pile.  |

KY does this. I think it's a good idea. Could be a HTF shoot/swap meet/meet n greet etc.

What about Turkey Day weekend? Gives everyone enough time to plan ahead & an opportunity to get away from the in-laws for a day. I'm throwing this out there too: how about we reserve a picnic area in Edwin Warner Park? Covered shelter, in case of rain. We could do a pot luck lunch, everyone brings a dish they like? Maybe someone (or three) brinks drinks, plates, etc.? We can bring some extra 8' tables in order to display all the gear. Doing lunch gives folks time to feed the kids in the morning & perhaps drive in in case they need to. Thoughts? |

I could see the West End soccer moms losing their collective minds when a bunch of armed dudes start trading gear at the park. The TMCA show is the same weekend, and inside a nice hotel, so I'll go there instead.

I'm at the dumpster behind the Wendy's on Dickerson Pike M-F 6p-2a. I could block a few parking spots with borrowed shopping carts for ya'll to set up. Come by anytime, honk twice so I know you're not 5-0.

The weekend of Thanksgiving is probably a bad idea - Friday is major shopping day, Saturday is rival day for college football.
Then again, Sunday afternoon might be a great time for a swap meet. It's not like anyone wants to watch the Titans. |
