Hi to all,I am getting a safe I live just outside the salt lake valley,The question I have those of you that have safes what or do you use any dehumidifiers.I know it is very dry in northern Utah and some places say you don't need one here in Utah.But I have no experience.So you all can help me make a decision. Thanks to all that reply.

GoldenRod seems to be the popular choice. Yeah, Utah may be dry but you're putting your guns in a confined space with no circulation. If moisture gets in there (shooting in the rain, not drying off gun completely), it will stay there.

To me, it seems like a good idea to spend 50 bucks as insurance against rust. That's my very uneducated opinion.
