I'm flying into SLC from Tampa, and meeting my parents there who are driving from Cali. so we can do some Jeeping. Does anyone fairly local know of good places to eat? We'll be there for a week, and my mom loves rib places, and let's face it, who doesn't? One of the times they drove out to Florida, they stopped for ribs every night for dinner. They've been there before and already know of a restaurant near the RV park that all locals know to avoid, but couldn't remember the name of. Apparently there is a lot of food poisoning going on there. Thanks for any info.

Hit up Ray's Tavern in Green River on your way down.

R&R BBQ in SLC is pretty good and accessible from the airport.

Moab isn't very big, but there are many good places to eat. Zax is a good place for pizza, lots of variety. Moab Brewery has a good menu, besides their beers. Slickrock Cafe is decent. Eddie McStiffs is a good place for burgers.

There are others I'm leaving out..

If you are going to be there around Easter... it'll be nuts! Good luck!

Were getting there the 24th. My dad's jeep club tries to go either before or after the crowds are there to avoid that nuttiness.

Pat's barbecue off of 2100S and West Temple. Can't remember the name of the street. It looks like a dive on the outside, but is one of the better in town.

Bucks Grill House. Great menu includes baby back ribs among other meat delights. Nice peaceful patio in back is a great place to have a relaxing dinner after a day of outdoor fun. http://www.bucksgrillhouse.com/ordereze/1000/Page.aspx

We have landed and the weather is great, nice and cool. Thanks for the suggestions, this should be a great trip, provided we dont break the jeep.

Aaaaaaaand we have a flat on the trailer. There is a tire place half a mile away, but they are closed. Lovely scenery though. Not flat like florida.
