right now it's not about who would do better managing the land, it's about what authority the federal govt has to have so much.  like it or not, the federal government has zero authority according tot he constitution.  then again, the federal govt also has zero authority to have a standing army.  the 2nd amendment is a joke and is virtually gone in most major u.s. cities so who gives a shit anymore what the constitution says.  we should just let the government do what it likes and hope we don't have a run in with them.
