Hey all, Have a free day in Pendleton this Monday. wife has a job over there im going along for the ride, free hotel etc. Any ideas on what to occupy myself with while she works all day. Restaraunts for dinner etc. Thanks

go get a nice warm blanket?  Seriously though, Pendleton wool blanket kick much butt.

The wife unit and I did the woolen mill tour, They have looms that make a blanket every 12 minutes, I love the show how its made. and went into a huge room where they have their seconds. We bought four huge wool blankets all will king size bed with room to spare, for about 375. Got home and looked up their normal retail price and it would have been close to 1100. WOW, always wanted a real Pendleton blanket but never would pay their retail price. Other than that wish I would've brought a rifle or two for some long range shooting. Stopped at the casino and won 90 bucks on slots. overall a good day.

Sweet.  For that much on the blankets I need to get my buns to the outlet and grab some seconds.  I picked up one at a thrift shop in Sisters a couple years ago for $25 and never looked back.  Not the super nice ones, but still quite good for the money.  And +1 on the LR gun out there.  You can shoot for miles out there.
