HVAC supply companies often sell co2 tanks. Thats where I get mine filled.

airgas or matheson
brew supply stores have them also, but they are gonna be aluminum tanks and generally more expensive |

i must have no luck... I search by all kinds of terms on Craigslist for CO2 containers and always come up empty.
