For those who MISSED the thread on Subguns, Sturm and here on AR-15

The NEW MK5 from Professional Arms, LLC

Coming soon from OREGON:

" The MK5 is a multi-caliber weapon system. The system is available in 9x19mm, .40 S&W and .45 Auto.

The MK5 uses a roller-locked, closed bolt system found in the HK MP5. The receiver is made of steel providing the strength necessary for controlled firing during all modes of fire.

The exterior is virtually identical to the HK MP5, so the feel and functionality are familiar to the operator. Additional features found on the MK5 are the bolt hold open, an interchangeable caliber system and hard attachment points for accessories. The MK5 is interchangeable with all HK MP5 lowers and trigger groups."

Here are two of my little buddies. The AR is a Colt 6920 with Eotech, SOPMOD stock, ARMS 40 BUIS, Trijicon night sights, Hogue grip, Viking Tactics sling, and a cheesy jungle clip (but it works). Stock Gen-3 Glock 19 with a Streamlight TLR-1 and some skateboard tape. Bought the Streamlight with the intention of putting it on my AR, but I tried it out on the Glock and liked it so much I left it there. Now I need to get another one for my AR.

Just a Sentry 12 gun cabinet. The top shelf was too small so I cut out a larger one.

that Leupold CQ/T looks awesome.  Is it difficult to use when it's mounted on the carry handle like that?

welcome to the OR HTF!

It's not difficult at all to use mounted on the carry handle. You don't have to worry about cheek weld, because you can't touch your cheek to the stock and see through the scope at the same time. I've developed a method of chin weld that works rather well. I will say this, I would NOT mount a CQ/T on a flat top that had a fixed FSB. Even mounted on the carry handle I can still see the very top of the FSB in my sight picture when at 1x magnification. If you're going to mount one of these on a flat top go with BUIS.

Nice pics, all. Made me want to post some. {This is a joke}

Social work package.
The flash light is pretty bright with new batteries, you can see probably 20-30 feet with it when it's pretty dark, the knife is a really sharp one, it looked really neat when I got it years ago, it was "tactical" black, but the paint wore off after a couple years. I found I can get about 100 rounds of top quality .22 in the belt pouch, coupled with the 6 in the extra cylinder and 6 in the gun, that's a total of 112 rounds on hand, pretty impressive, eh?

Another pic of "the business end"

One more of it "ready to go".

Thanks for checking my rig out!

What is that thing on the bottom row on the right? Never seen anything like that before. Looks like a shotgun action.
