you prefer 6-9" bipod vs 9-13" for prone shooting?..

I prefer the 6"-9" bipod, but some thicker folks need a taller bipod.  Rare, though.

I will need to get with you in the coming month or two and take you up on sighting in my rifle. 

For my future reference though, would my Daniel Defense AR-10 be an acceptable rifle?  Seems like I'm pushing the limits of the round maybe.  My scope is a NightForce ATACR™ 4-16×50 Riflescope.

I haven't tried to run one of those at distance yet, but they seem to shoot well and you've got excellent glass.   I wouldn't hesitate to try it in a class like mine.
