Yep, for inducing malfunctions. I use something similar in carbine/AR courses I teach. I call mine the FU Stick, cuz that's what a lot of students say when we use them. They will induce some epic malfunctions.

Yeah... that was the paw. Little round end does things like press the magazine release. The end with the angle iron causes stovepipes and double feeds and generally induces a blinding rage.
