A couple weekends ago my wife dragged me out to Davidson to check out a new butcher that opened up.  I agreed to go to make her happy, but was pretty sure I'd be walking into a froo froo hipster store of overpriced crap.  Boy was I wrong.

It's owned by a couple local farmers who partner with other local farmers to sell some pretty good looking meat.

The owner and his wife are incredibly nice and so far everything I've had from them is incredible.  Just put my 4th Of July Weekend order in today.

Prices are a little higher than the grocery store, but so is the quality.  They make sausage in the store and have both frozen stuff and meat in the case.

If you're in the area check them out.  Carolina Craft Butchery - highly recommend.

Stopped in when they first opened. Only had frozen meat back then, nice folks and prices were fair.
