I believed this is going to be the last show at the Metrolina, so who's going? Stop by and check us out for some great deals. Do they still have that show in Harlotte that was in 2 or 3 huge buildings at once?
Seemed like I remember it being between 77 & 85 somewheres.  d:^) Jake..

That property has been sold, and I think 6/30/16 is when everybody has to be gone. Somebody that went this past weekend said workers were tearing down buildings while the show was going on. The Dixie show used to be at the same location (Metrolina Expo) but moved earlier this year. The last two shows they did were at The Park over on Independence Blvd next to Bojangles coliseum. They fit everybody in one room there. |

Demand is up substantially, but there was plenty of inventory in the supply chain. Distributors were bulging at the seem because they were over-bought and it appears manufacturers had built inventory in anticipation of election craziness towards the end of the year. The question in my mind, is if the supply chain empties out now, what if there is election demand and the channel is empty? The one thing which is in short supply is lowers. As Robbie pointed out, Aim is out of stock. It is easy for a company to have post a price when they are out of stock AND NOT ACCEPTING ORDERS. The true measure is the price they will sell at when they do get stock. On that note, we track on-line prices of our major competitor. There is a major on-line discount gun retailer (not Aim) who, when they run out of a model, they LOWER THE "price" on their website, but DO NOT ACCEPT orders. When they get guns back in stock, they raise their price to the "normal" price. This is done specifically to make their competitors look expensive. |

Maybe but Aim constantly sells out and restock a at the 39.99 price eventually they may have to go up in price. If the manufacturer goes up on cost. but so far they seem to be maintaining pretty well. Was just curiouse if i could start buying local again at that price point but i guess for now its mailorder

I have never been to the gun shows in Charlotte but I've lived here for 10+ years.
What kind of cover fee is there to get in? I've seen primary arms, or someone had some G2 pmags recently for 9 bucks online so really not too hyped about that one. The window ones are going hot right now. |

8 bucks is the usual gunshow entry fee currently and some promoters have 1 dollar off coupons on their web sites. A few shows charge more, and if going verify if there is a charge to park your vehicle. Dixie moved to the Park Expo Center, (Old Charlotte Merchandise Mart.), but promises free parking in their ad. Once upon a time C&E used that facility and there was a charge for parking. C&E is apparently going back to the Cabarras County Expo center.
NOW: Question to Quantico Tactical, are you guys still going to set up at any of the Charlotte area gunshows from here on out? |
