This place is a great resource for this sort of info...got a speeding ticket a few weeks ago in Slurry Co.  Found out that there are "deferment" programs in North Carolina, unfortunately, you have to do it in person at the time of your hearing.  I'm around 9 hours away.  Paying fine isn't that big of a deal, loosing my good driver status with my insurance is, and I want to avoid that.  Anyone recommend a local traffic lawyer that is reasonable priced?
