Question on the firing lines....
How far apart are trees, posts, or whatever we can tie target supports at different yardages on the rifle range? I think I've seen close to 300 yards mentioned in this thread. I remember missing quite at bit at shorter ranges last Spring. 
What about the pistol pits? I've only been to Take Aim once, but I remember that the pistol pit was pretty wide open. Plenty of pistol targets at various distances, and a nice Deputy Sheriff broke out his FA shit, let us load them up, and have some fun. How far apart are the target hangers? I've got a few 30# freon cans that would look sexy at 300 yards strung up on fire hose (that shit is indestructable).. They would also look lovely hanging on the pistol pit. Freon can hanging material....

They might not like that if it hasn't rained. Could bring a couple fire extinguishers which I don't have any of. If it's a 50AE Desert Eagle, count me out. 454 Casull is more than enough for me.

Hi Everyone.
Sorry for the delay; lots going on. We are IN! One note: We will be serving dinner on SATURDAY, starting between 5-6pm., not lunch. That way, people who don't want to stay Saturday night can eat and leave. Any problem with that? It would be helpful if we could get a role-call to find out approximately people are attending so we can plan for food. The estimate we got was ~30 people. That seems way low. Role call of people attending and how may people in total in your group? |

I guess the food will be smoked pig Saturday night? One of the others coming with me is wondering. How much with dinner be per person?
Here's some other stuff I plan on bringing. - Diet Coke and Mentos. That should be fun to shoot.
- Bottles filled with water. Not sure how many yet. - Empty containers for tannerite if it is known that it will be approved before I leave. I don't want to bring them and not get to use them. |
