Not a rum drinker but my wife loves it. I picked this up for her today. How did I do?

She better like it...I'm a cheap basted though and I've never been willing to spend $100+ for a bottle of rum. Makers Mark is more my thing. Got to tour the Appleton rum distillery in Jamaica once when there. Really neat tour.

I really like Rum, but I can't tell the difference in the Super premium stuff... I mean you have the bottom of the barrel crap that says RUM and is like 6 bucks a gallon... Then you have the stuff thats like 18-35 dollars for a pretty good sized bottle. Then you can go way up from there...

I've bough several different brands in each of later two ranges and I don't taste the increased "Quality/Flavor"" for the increased Price...
