Well we just found out.  MDC will be doing the mandatory sampling for cwd on firearms opening season again this year.  It will be in 25 of the 41 management counties.  I'm not sure which ones it will be, but seeing as how they found two in St. Clair (which wasn't even a management county) that St. Clair, Henry, Benton, Hickory, Cedar, Vernon, and Bates Counties will likely be included in those 25.  

This sucks, opening weekend of firearms deer season is my favorite part of the year and all MDC employees will be REQUIRED again to work Saturday and Sunday for 14-16 hours each day.  FUUUUUUUUCK!

Ya, that sucks for you, but I'm glad you guys are out there checking on that shit.

We got in on the recent sampling in Franklin county too.  Not much can be done to stop it.  just get rid of antler point restrictions and it should help slow the spread.
