Saw a white squirrel at the bird feeder.  Black eyes like a normal squirrel.  Anyone else have a sighting?

Marionville, MO is known for their white squirrels. I hung around the city park down there one day hoping to see a few and get some pics. I never did see one though.

There use to be some in Bonne Terre years ago. Not sure if they are still around or not I don't go there much.

No, but there's a mostly white Skunk that is currently spending lots of time under my shed, and under my back deck. I have a trap set out there right now, but I'm half way hoping I don't catch it.

It would make an awesome mount, but it's too stinky.

Had a white squirrel living in a tree once here in town. Many a day I thought about seeing if I could get away with a single .22 pop.
Figured he would look good on the wall next to my first squirrel which was a melanistic phased fox.

Have been to Marionville several times and saw a ton of white squirrels. Look for them on S Mill Ave and W Washington St.

I have a mount of a melanistic gray squirrel.  Thinking a salt and pepper set.

It turns out a .38 Special only makes a nice little through and through hole on black squirrels.

I have one that lives on my acreage.  Seen him NUMEROUS times over the last few years deer hunting on my place.  SWMO area.

Seen plenty in Marionville.  Especially around the old folks home.

Olney, Illinois (I think it's Olney-SE IL) has them too.
