No, you need more time than that to truly enjoy it. It is much larger than it appears from the outside. However, if you have some time to kill, go anyway as you won't regret it. Plan on coming back to see it in depth though.

Took us about a day and a half to really see it. It's amazing.

Check out the Federal Reserve next door.......free self guided tour was pretty cool.

If you're into aviation, go up to KC downtown airport just across the bridge for the Airline History Museum.  The have a DC3 and a Connie, plus a bunch of other airline memorabilia.  Just across the field is the TWA Museum which is cool if you flew on TWA in the hay days.

WW1 Museum was cool but yes, you need time to really appreciate it.  Also, no metal detectors n such FYSA.

We went to see my daughter and son in law in KC, we tried to take in some good BBQ, the WWI museum, and a show at the performing arts center in one day.  I really felt rushed through the museum since we only had a few hours including a trip to the top of the tower.  It was still really cool though!
