Just allegedly bought a flawlessly working rifle from same state seller this gun does not cycle or eject a round properly, to eject round i have to remove recoils spring and use good amount of force to eject a round, few of the rounds seperated from case an stuck in barrel.

Does anyone have an idea where i should begin or how to go about fixing this Hot Messs ???

Try ammo from different manufacturers before blaming the rifle. If it happens with all, then maybe the chamber needs to be cleaned/polished.

The tapco g2 trigger doesnt reset when fired either you have to force it manually forward into the correct fire position, Well I talk to the Guy who sold this to me suppose to be getting me a new barrel and $100 bucks back not quite what I wanted but if he lives up to this I ll make do and over come this, I think he knew this that why he listed it as a parts kit?

I even left him good feedback on Gunbroker but non the less when you try to get over on people karma eventually finds away to return the favor , Were Both In Missouri !!!

Seller said he will make this Right by sending me new barrel an $100 Back.

Auction Description

This is an original Waffen Werks finished receiver with a somewhat numbers matching Bulgarian AK-74 parts kit assembled onto it. The rifle was built to US Sec.922r specifications with the correct parts count, including Waffen Werks receiver, US barrel, Magpul Zhukov-S adjustable stock, Hogue pistol grip, and handguard with rails, Tapco G2 trigger, and 2-30rd 5.45x39 magazines. The headspace has been checked and it has had about 100 rounds through it functioning flawlessly.

I even left him good feedback on Gunbroker but no the less when you try to get over on people karma eventaully finds away to return the favor !!!

Yep thats why he wrote it up as parts kit an advertised a complete rifle but what goes around comes around He got me for $200, never again.

shame is he crapped in his own back yard , I guess If he sends me new barrel & $100 back he has a little integrity?

Headspace it properly first then move on from there... check also to ensure you're receiver is not.pinched somewhere.

Check your gas tube and gas piston. Buddy of mine shot corrosive 5.45 in his gun then didn't clean it. Bolt felt like it was rusted shut. I got to fix it for him. Turns out the gas piston and gas tube were locked up with rust. Hosing the bolt down with gun oil freed it up enough that a couple wacks with a hammer released it.

Pretty sure it has not been fired... Looks like the headspace is out, barrel needs to be checked, headspaced checked, and then work on the problem.
It ain't rocket surgery backwards fifth world mud hut livin cave dwellers manage to build these without fucking them up and they run... sort of...
Never heard of Waffen Werks.. Until now, appears they are out of business, looks like they probably have some Out of Spec Receivers...
if the trigger group is not working correctly, I think perhaps the WW receiver is a POS. Seeing some of the reviews of WW stuff I am left in AWE...
May need to be rebuilt on an NDS receiver...

Stacy, Post a couple pics of the receiver laying level horizontally from the TOP of the receiver with the dust cover and Recoil Assembly removed.
I want to see a couple things about the Trigger Group Specifically please.

Wasp Waisted, Looks to have a bit of a twist, and the holes are misaligned....
Receiver looks to be the major functionality culprit, we still need to check the headspace...

Got my 5.45x39 headspace gages in my pocket... Whenever you can come by the shop let me know. I'll put them on my work table.
We Will have to strip the bolt remove extractor and spring, and firing pin retainer and firing pin...
I can inspect the receiver at that point and see what it will need to make it work.

You'd probably have better luck with small claims court and even with that winning isn't the issue. It's collecting a judgement.

Ok comparing the waffen werks to Polish tantal it appears the barrel chamber needs to be reamed an may need to be pushed forward in the trunion so head spacing if I'm correct is in correct. I did the qtip test gun has been fired did it function correctly I don't know I would say not 2 Qtips of powder came off the rails an the 1/2 used qtip came inside chamber so it was fired 100 rounds flawlessly doubt it

This appears to be fixable?

Can't tell a thing without measuring it, with gages and so forth. a Tantal is not necessarily the "Same" the Trunnion is different and a few other machining differences, it is not as simple as just pushing the barrel forward in the trunnion, the pin intersects the barrel in the chamber area, so Pin has to come out, barrel properly headspaced and the pin re-installed, well there is now a divot in the barrel Chamber OD, so that would need to be fixed to be able to re-install the pin properly. or an oversize pin installed or last but not least the chamber reamed deeper and the tail of the barrel trimmed to set the headspace... Again lets measure this thing first then see where we can go with it.

Not that it's a big deal but FYI that date is wrong on the slip.

Can someone comment better on the veracity of it being a 4473 violation?

Looks like one of Curtis' barrels, AK-Builder... His are the only ones I know of marked like that, is it chrome lined?
If so he is local, we can take it to him to check. Made from Montana Rifleman Blanks.

Not sure if it is chrome lined,  talk to lonnie at akbuilder.com this am, he informed they do not sell the reamers but got like 80 chrome lines in stock an a few nitrited .

Well After consulting another Pro Builder I have decided this is above my capabilities for an a  experienced builder the  barrel could be repaired or a new one bought from ak builder.Com for less than $125.00

So I have $580 in these parts an have been told they are still usable an not in bad shape so If I could get $375 or best offer for this  I eat the rest.

This is fitted for the experienced builder not me

In the interest of total disclosure, the barrel is garbage, the chamber would need to be reamed about 7mm DEEPER to FIX it... then all the other stuff ON the barrel would need to be set forward a like amount, and the tail of the barrel reworked by a like amount. so the barrel is not going to "Fix" A NOT go gage GOES, so does the GO, there is a step in the chamber near the leade and some nasty machining marks in the chamber itself, they can be seen to have made an impression in the fired cases shown above, the Receiver DOES have a slight twist to it BUT the bolt runs fine, it has minor issues that can all be fixed once the barrel is removed from the trunnion, the barrel is also quite canted in the trunnion... so the pin divot would need to be filled (welded) and then the journal re-machined and the pin divot re-machined. a Hundred dollar barrel would be THE way to go. the price above is fair all of the fitments are like new, the FSB has not even been drilled for the pins, the Gas Block and Rear Sight block are usable, just need removed from the current barrel.
