Any body know of a place between Jefferson City & Lake St. Louis that would have a sig arm brace in stock.

I've got to make a roadtrip tomorrow & I'll likely have time to make a few stops.

Won't installing a brace on your pistol make it hard to get in and out of your holster??

It makes it a little tougher to conceal but I figure since we're going into winter I'll just bulk up a little.
Thanks Robert, I check them out today on my way through.

If you're looking for the closer-to-JC part, I believe Patriot Supply in Ashland had one when I was last in there a few weeks ago. They also have a good stock of AR15 parts and other stuff.

{not affiliated with them, just been a satisfied customer}

Indeed!  These are the black SBX braces that just arrived.  We have an equal supply of standard black PSB braces.  The number of FDE PSBs are a bit lower....

Thank you! And I'll be back for that Sig optic soon.   Brace fit like a dream.   Now if my ammo would only show up!

Guys I highly recommend Osage County Guns   It's a really nice place.

Here's my little pistol.

10.5" 300 blackout with a MAS flash hidier & 12" ff tube.  Burris fastfire for now but Paul had a really nice Sig 4x optic that will soon sit in top.

I thought they weren't going to produce the new version of the brace in favor of continuing production of the old version.

From what Sig Sauer told us, both versions will be produced so you will be able to purchase either one.  There is no guarantee that in the future the original SB15 won't be obsoleted, but for now you have the choice of which version you prefer.

There's also a weight difference.  I weighed the SB15 at 12.3 oz (with the second strap) and the SBX at 10.1 oz. (with the second strap).  Subtract .2 oz if you exclude the second strap.  That means the SB15 weighs just over 20% more than the new SBX.  It's not much, but a few ounces here and there can add up to a pound or more of reduced weight and for a "pistol" that's big.

Cool, good to know!  I would imagine that the lighter one would balance better with the average pistol build unless it was a Mk. 18esque pig.

Why would you want to hide a pretty thing like that in a holster? Go to pawn shop and get the biggest gold chain they got and hang that lil pistol around the neck for some real bling.
