How is the rut looking? Headed that way the day after Christmas.

Here is what I know.

Saturday Dec 27-
AM
Saw 2 does at 2 different locations, no sign of rut, no bucks following-did hear of a monster 16 pt. across the Mississippi line shot in FULL rut

PM shot 1,  5 pt buck. No rut, very little gland smell.

Sunday Dec. 28
AM-shot one 4 pt. no sign of rut

Younger deer were moving, no older deer.
