The idea is to have a different session every Friday night. You can sign on for one or all. Sessions will run from 1800-2200. We will run force on force scenarios at every session. The first two sessions will encompass fundamentals and use of light concepts. Follow-on sessions will layer on increased difficulties. Buddy Team Discount- attend with a friend $50 per shooter per session. Combo Mombo---Multiple Session/Buddy Team- $45 per session per shooter. 03 OCT- Carbine #1 10 OCT- Handgun #1 17 OCT- Carbine #2 24 OCT- Handgun #2 This is not Basic Level training, shooters need to be competent in all aspects of safety, function, malfunction, manipulations and marksmanship fundamentals. When you say "low light" I assume you mean NV use? I have some NV toys and experience and would like to gain some tactical skills via your training. ETA: I have some spare NV gear for other(s) if necessary. |

I tried to call you, you screened me. Though we are working primarily white light and red dots, bring it. I suggest you run both set-ups if you have them (light/dot & NV/Laser). We'll run drills with your NV set-up alone, so the other shooter's aren't white lighting your AO. Easy. We'll talk more when you return the call.

If we have a weapon mounted light, will we need to bring a handheld?

Just FYI, I'm going to bring a bunch of extra high-end NV and thermal .MIL gear along with a few helmets, etc for those who want to play around some -- if that's OK with LHT. PVS-14's, PVS-7, MUM, NVBS-15, PSQ-20, PAS-13's, FLIR Recon, IR lasers, lights, and illuminators, etc.
Again, if LHT is cool with it. I don't want to cause any distractions (Mayb for some after-hours fun, if DT permits). |

You and your boys would have a field day with this gear. Lots of LEOs and SWAT at LHT events, like FNL. You'd be right at home there. Also, I'm in the process of getting my FFL with SOT (NFA) -- more really for myself, but I want to stock up on cans and "special stuff" so I can outfit a bunch of guys and Curt / Lighthorse can show us how to work it all at some "special" classes! |
