One of these days I'm going to have to come up there and see what you crazies are up to.

Careful... they roll pretty deep.

On that note I think I will stay down here.

Yep, and it's a pretty nice one too, and could easily meet our water needs. It's about 800 yards from the house.

Well like I said, if you need an extra hand I'm willing - especially for a potentially awesome project like a treehouse.

Some of my handiwork:

Some pine board in a remodel I was doing:

I'm hoping to close in the rabbit barn and build the kid's a tree house this winter.

Got a crapload of rabbit meat if anyone's interested.

Gotta come help me clean it though. I know at least a few of these rabbits are spoken for.

Menards, but I don't know if they have them down here. That's where I got all my lumber from, they always had the best looking lumber and the best prices.

Thanks Axl for teaching me about reloading!!!

I'm going to start shopping for a press and accessories now. I got clearance from the boss lady when I got home to start getting it together.

I'm excited.

I like the Lee press, though I currently have an RCBS single stage. I have a Lee Loader for .270 and 7.7 Jap. And a Lee hand primer.

This is a great deal

Here is Tom, he's almost grown.

He's like a dog, because he follows you around all the time wanting you give him something to eat.

These are the nasty, asshole, douchebag ducks and geese.

I let the bard rocks go today, we don't want/need them, so we are just going to let them run wild.

Of course, the top hen decided to pick a fight with Mrs. Turkey. She got her ASS BEAT. I wouldn't be surprised if she's dead tomorrow, because she keeps coming back and getting her ass kicked.

If anyone wants these bard rocks, they're yours.

It's honestly pretty easy. Big tips - make sure you don't make all the boards the same length so the joints are in different locations, and cut the very ends of the boards at a 45 so it still looks good even if the boards shrink a little bit.

Surplus. They are a great breed, and very hardy.

I'm pretty invested in RIRs right now.

So the Dr. types are going to start inducing my wife Sunday evening and I scored a very well paying job in Huntsville. It looks like I'll have the means to provide, and a more urgent reason to start making our "place away from it all" a reality.

Not really.

Had a hernia fixed, and I'm on the better side of it now.

The worst part wasn't the pain or recovery, it's how quickly I put on weight and lost muscle while being immobilized.

At this point I'm just trying to catch up to lawn/house work.
