Before Obama it was great-then he got elected and it was so crowded you couldn't see anything on the tables let alone find the exit. But all that has died down and it will be enjoyable I'm sure. There is it seems a lot a mil surplus tables, I use to go for the reloading components. Since you're coming that distance there's gun shops in the area you can visit as well.

Wow, just recalled the last time i went to an Indy show was around 1998. I'm sure it's still an all day event, and if you want to go back to a table later on, draw a map or make not of nearby features. Quite a few mil surp dealers the 3 or 4 times I went.

It is definitely worth checking out. If you are into mil-surps head straight on down I-65 to the National Gun Day show in Louisville, Kentucky at the fairgrounds. It is far and away the best place I've found for mil-surps.
