How long did it take to get your permit in the mail after you submitted it? State web-sights say it could be up to 60 days.

mine took one week, my friend who has a been arrested in the past is still waiting for his and its been almost 10 weeks. So it all depends.

My Dad got his recently.  He had it in the mail about one week after the electronic fingerprints were done.

Took about a week to be approved but they haven't mailed it yet. It was pretty quick I guess, but IN permit system has a bunch of hoops to jump through compared to WI. I went to 3 different police stations. Every time I'd go it they would either be on vacation or say, "you need to go to XYZ station across town because you live in their territory" Finally had to go look at a map and see where the territories were and argue with them. I live about 100 yards from the dividing line. Rant over
