As most of you probably know, the DNR has proposed to legalize rifles .243" and larger for deer hunting in Indiana. They are now accepting public input for a limited amount of time. Please leave a comment at the above link and be sure to share the link with friends and family.

I fully support this proposal,  even though I prefer bowhunting. Indiana already allows certain rifles for deer and has had no negative incidents regarding them. Other states with similar or greater human populations and similar terrain allow rifles for deer, so I see no reason to exclude them here.
