My prediction is that this won't be won in the legislature. With the appointment and confirmation of a new MSP superintendent, it will be an unannounced administrative victory. Will the new "Super" instruct the licensing division to approve all qualified applicants applying for a permit under self defense? I don't think we will see a press conference confirming this. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see this put to bed through the legislative process. Something tells me it won't even make it out of committee.

But for local information on MD specific gun laws MDS is the better source. In my view both sites are worth a visit if you live in MD. |

I like both sites. There is more traffic on MDS as far as topics regarding MD, but what I dont like is they have to very little tolerance for any anti LEO stuff. Even if the LEO has been an ass or wrong.
