Hey guys,
Is there anyone in or around the metro area you would trust to cut and thread a bolt action's barrel?

Thanks,
Chris

Schreyer Weapons Systems can do it and I'm sure they do great work but they quoted me something ungodly like $350 to do it to my 700P. I ended up sending it to Adco along with a 14.5" AR upper I needed pinned and they did a world class job.

Stu did my 700P for $100.  The Dead Air brake went on it perfect, just haven't had a chance to shoot it with the can yet.

Second vote for Stu, he quoted me far below 300 for threading a rifle barrel. Check him out, he is just off of 10 in Saint Cloud, Stu's Gunsmithing. Great guy, I go through him for all of my work.

Is he right next to Del tone gun range? Does Stu have a web site or do you have his number?

Jim Pixley Up in Pelican Rapids does outstanding work.  Handguns and rifle barrels with thread protectors properly timed!
