I haven't seen any recently anywhere. Your best off to just order one from Atlantic. There is a gunsmith in Waseca that does transfers for $25.

Thanks, the problem when I go to the Atlantic site is I always end up on the SLR-107 page
I've used the guy in Waseca and he got me in and out very quickly and his fee is reasonable. I was hoping some of our metro friends might have seen some around. |

To anyone who's bought one from FF - how are they on letting a person look them over if they've got a few in stock?
Will they let you check magazine fit? Check carrier movement? I suppose it depends on the person working but I'll ask "generally" how are they? |

Ive only bought a mosin form ff. The wasr's on display I thought have a mag already in them or are you talking about checking other mags from the shelf?

I meant inserting to check for wobble.
Got one in Mankato. The guys in the dept. didn't even know they had them and they had to search in back for a while. The guy helping me let me check all three for straight sights, insert mags, and work the actions. These were electro-penciled 10/63 but were tacked nut version and have laminate stocks if anyone's looking. |

Have seen them in the Mason City, IA store, as well as a few other AK variants. Not sure if Mills will send from one store to another, but might be worth asking for any having trouble finding one.
