I don't know of any openings for swiss. There are a couple shops in Elk River that are usually pretty busy.

How about CNC turning? I can ask a few that I use if they are looking for someone.

FWIW I don't get into turning very much for the simple reason that the spindle is pointing the wrong way.

Not only is the spindle on your machine pointing in the wrong direction. I am pretty sure the head is broken.

Just like a bunch of Mill guys to gang up on a turning guy.

I'm a turning guy in general, Swiss typically offers the best compensation though.

I do have a few interviews next week, hopefully I find a good fit.

Hand drawn prints are best prints.

You would be surprised who still uses them and for what.

Our shop is NE metro and we're looking to get a swiss machine and someone to run it. We're an R&D project shop. Nothing has been decided yet but it looks like we'll be looking to hire in the next 3 months. OP, shoot me a PM and I can get you the details.

That turnover is something I'm a little leery of.

My current shop has ridiculous turnover, not a good thing at all.

I've been with them for 3 years now. It dosen't seem to be turn over as much as people moving around and up.
