I am going to be attending a trade show hosted at Treasure Island casino. I know I can't carry while on the property. Will I be able to stash my gun in my luggage, and keep it secured in my room? I will be travelling with my boss, who doesn't know I carry, so stashing it in the vehicle is not an option, as we are driving the boss's car to the show.

Going by the assumption that they run the place like the one in my AOR, Black Bear.. concealed means that... No frisking or wanding at the door.. check your hockey sticks at the door, and no booze/beer allowed in the hotel.. I know of people who have been told to bring their case of beer back to the car.. Have also heard of people hiding a jug in their suitcase..

YMMV

One of our delivery drivers is from the area I'm going. He warned of wands at the door. I'm guessing they aren't as strict as TSA and scan all bags...

They don't allow guns on property, and its properly posted per state laws (PL 280, they fall under state law).

Hotel isn't screened but still part of property.  Security doesn't wand people, they check ID's and thats about it.  If it comes to the attention of Security that you have a gun they will contact the PD and you will have to remove it from the building.  In MN you can store a firearm in your vehicle and it isn't regulatable by businesses.

Why would you want to spend your money there?

It's a business trip, and the event is being hosted there. I don't have to spend any personal money I, unless I venture into the casino to play some games.
