I was curious if anyone knows of a shop in N.KY that sells stripped lowers and other AR parts. Trying to build as cheaply as possible while supporting local businesses. Boone County preferred. Thank you for any suggestions. Anderson Rifles is the first thing that comes to mind from your description of what you are looking for. The are a manufacturer, not just a store and can provide almost anything you could want for a AR 15 build. They are located in Hebron. Their products are first class and reasonably priced. Triggers in florence was selling Anderson stripped lowers online for $39.99. I usually order them online, then go to the store to pick them up. Best price I've been able to find on the lowers.

Good to know about Triggers. I've been in there, but it's so small and crowded that I was discouraged from going back.

I think they charge more for them in the actual store for some reason. I just order them online, select store pick up and wait an hour or so for them to tell me it's ready. Go in, tell them who I am, fill out the 4473, and be on my merry way.
