We do a shoot every year at Knob Creek that gets a good turn out. There have been several get togethers in the past for dinner or shooting. Anyone can set something up in their area.

Pretty sure one of my neighbors is a member on here. Blue dodge dakota with an NRA sticker and the bolt face logo, just noticed it today. I went to walk down and talk today but he was already closing his garage door, and I didn't want to appear creepy or weird and go knock on his door and talk about arfcom lol

I'm on the northern edge of Gallatin Co. ~9mins from Verona, 16 mins from Walton.
We used to have local get togethers until the instigator moved to Fla. How come I never see you guys at one of my summer shoots? I have a pretty nice set up to shoot on when it's not turkey or deer season. 
We set up failures in each others equipment. Bastard put the second round in backwards. My GLOCK reload was painfully slow since I was pocket carrying my spare mag. I was going at a deliberate pace since the camera was new to me. The sun was in my eyes. I had a blister on my toe. A bee stung me...

You only missed 2014. That theme was "Deliverance". The set up changes from year to year.
Cabin assault. 
My teaching partner John engaging 3 rolling targets. 
Miles-Urbanus engaging multiple targets on the timer. 
Recognize him? "You gat a purdy mouth, boy." 
A local Arfcommer drops this gal proving he is either: a) gay. b) been married too long.  (she was armed).
These targets are moved around and shoot/no shoot indicators are switched. The steel activates pop ups from behind the green barricades. 
Near to far drill. Piston on the steel. Cardboard for the rifles. Timed separately and then with transition. 
Similar but 2 to the body, one to the head. Rifle, move laterally and transition to pistol. 
The plate rack is getting rebuilt for this summer. I just added an 8 plate dueling tree to my gear. 
This is my buddy Monty. He helps me set these things up. We both lend out pistol caliber carbines for use on steel at close range. 
John's son Garret running a full auto SBR in .22. That's right! 'Murica!

My wife and I will be moving up that way this July. Actually looking forward to the terrain vs here in Kansas for shooting!
I'm the guy that posted the moving thread a few days ago. Hopefully we'll be on the Kentucky side. Seems there's more land to buy. If not this summer, I'm definition planning on getting some land to live/shoot on. I'll be sure to post when the range is ready
