Who else here lives NKY? Curious how many crazy Arfcommers are on the roads around me.

There's a list in the sticky at the top of the page with users by county.
Although some of us aren't on the list. We're few but we're here. Just south of Kenton county. |

Are there ever any hometown get togethers? I wouldn't mind meeting up with some folks for some range time one weekend.

We do a shoot every year at Knob Creek that gets a good turn out. There have been several get togethers in the past for dinner or shooting. Anyone can set something up in their area.

Here.
Verona, Boone County Louisville, Jefferson County (Gag) A mountain cabin around Buckhorn Lake surrounded by Daniel Boone National Forest, in Perry County Other than being in KY, I don't know where I am most of the time. |

Pretty sure one of my neighbors is a member on here. Blue dodge dakota with an NRA sticker and the bolt face logo, just noticed it today. I went to walk down and talk today but he was already closing his garage door, and I didn't want to appear creepy or weird and go knock on his door and talk about arfcom lol

I'm on the northern edge of Gallatin Co. ~9mins from Verona, 16 mins from Walton. We used to have local get togethers until the instigator moved to Fla. How come I never see you guys at one of my summer shoots? I have a pretty nice set up to shoot on when it's not turkey or deer season. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4o2BjxD_b8A We set up failures in each others equipment. Bastard put the second round in backwards. My GLOCK reload was painfully slow since I was pocket carrying my spare mag. I was going at a deliberate pace since the camera was new to me. The sun was in my eyes. I had a blister on my toe. A bee stung me... View Quote That looks fun. You should have a shoot out there, I'd be down to go. |

Whens this shoot normally take place? I'm hoping not at the end of June.

~2nd weekend after spring turkey. End of May, beginning of June. And I'm almost always home to shoot any weekend after that.

By "you guys" I meant the names I was seeing in this thread. And by "gay" I meant a "real good shot!" Sorry about the divorce. I hope it was as amicable and painless as possible. |

Same here, I don't expect to let someone else put in a bunch of work and let me come shoot for nothing. I'd be happy to help set up. |

Kenton here. My schedule rotates, but I'm always interested in shooting.

My wife and I will be moving up that way this July. Actually looking forward to the terrain vs here in Kansas for shooting!
I'm the guy that posted the moving thread a few days ago. Hopefully we'll be on the Kentucky side. Seems there's more land to buy. If not this summer, I'm definition planning on getting some land to live/shoot on. I'll be sure to post when the range is ready |
