Nice! I love the diamond plating in the background of the state, that's a really nice touch.

Quoted: Here's an update without the Gadsen on Khaki. I'll have a different concept or two later today. http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=28657 EDIT: Another version so you guys can compare them on different backgrounds http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=28658 So far, I think I like the top one the best. It looks less busy than one with diamondplate on the background. |
Yep, me too. I like the diamond plate look in the image, but for a shirt, I'd prefer it without.
So far this one, without the diamond plate is my favorite...
Personally I think it would look better (and use a lot less ink) if you dropped the black background so all you had was the state outline, bolt face and team Kentucky done in white on a black shirt and done in black on any other color shirt |

Quoted: Updated with the background dropped. Example on light / dark tshirt colors. http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=28717 Cool. For me personally, I'd say it's a toss up between those, and the below option: But if it winds up being any one of the three, I'm certainly game for a shirt or two. |

I like the Iowa shirts. Do we really need to say team KY. I'm in for at least two no matter which design they use.

You can this logo... http://www.rivalsummit.com/ARFARF/Tshirts/Samples/ARFCOMLogo_Black.png on the front left breast area. No need to clutter up the back with it too... IMO I confess to being overweight... but that is either my chest...or pectoral muscle |

And it's cleaner without the words. I hear what you guys are saying and even somewhat agree but I'd say leave it there for 2 reasons... 1. I think there should be some sort of continuity between the various state's logos and so far it seems like the only details that are in most of the designs is the use of that state's outline and the "Team XXX" 2. I'm not in love with the "Team Kentucky" but if we take that out then IMO something else needs to be there in it's place. I think the State outline and bolt face logo by themselves is boring and unimaginative and not even all that attractive. I know you guys want something basic\KISS like but I think we need something a little more creative and interesting then that? I guess at some point we will just have to put a few designs up and let everyone vote? |
I agree that our state is unique, and readily identifiable thanks to the Ohio that makes most of our Northern border. Not all the western states particularly have easily identified borders. Hence the name for Team "State"
Nothing is set in stone when it comes to what we can do on the designs. The only reason most designs say "Team XXX" or "XXX HTF" is because it was requested. We generally make available whatever design the majority agrees on, if we remove the "Team Kentucky" and fill it in with something else and everyone likes it, then we can do that as well. It will look good either way.

I think it looks pretty good with "team KY" in the outline.....
Maybe its the Font or it seems like the Bolt Face and the Team KY is crammed in there and barely fits. Perhaps shrinking it down just a bit but hey whatever everyone agrees upon. Do we vote or can there be more than one design? I'm in either way.

I actually like the previous font. It's a bit more stylized than the new font: http://www.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=28717 If this is the final design definitely count me in! +1 I agree with Cottonbaler but I'm in for one either way. |
