Could only afford one class this year and I chose Pannone's. I have taken a class with LV in the past and it was good. Good mix of fun and work.

It was $600 for the 2 day home defense class. Pretty sure that class as well as the 1 day basic pistol are already sold out according to the alias training page.

I wanted to go, but couldn't afford to take off work and his class. He was here back in November too at Blue Trails. I'd really like to take his 1911 pistolsmith course.

I just got back from the Vickers two day home defense class at King 33.

It was humbling to see how little I knew before I took the class.  There is a lot of little things that make it way more likely to get yourself shot.

Larry was a good teacher, and did not sugarcoat anything.

I would recommend both LV and King 33.  The King 33 staff was also very helpful, especially Chris.  I will definitely be going back to train there again.

The building itself it enormous, something like 600,000 sf (they obviously don't use all of it)

LAV is brave to bring his kit into the Nazi regime of CT.

It was a great class & facility to have it at.

Those of us stuck in CT are lucky to have King33 as a training resource.

Most of the King 33 classes are only $150 for the day, while that isn't nothing, it is pretty reasonable.

They also offer one on one training for $35/hr. Not to shabby if you think about it. A normal indoor range runs $20 something an hour to stand in a booth and shoot at a static target. Their range is 360* and rated up to 308.

Hmmm interesting. Does he do small groups?

I talked to Chris a little bit and he said they will do pretty much anything you want.  I would call them up and see what they can set up.  They can do classes for different numbers of people and for different amounts of time.

Hmm. I need to look into this more

I usually can't swing classes financially anymore. And don't get to shoot rifle all that much because I have wed and Thur off.

I'm so rusty you should call me tinman

Not sure if that explanation will work if Crossfit ends up working for him.

He has done quite a bit in his lifetime and lived long enough to gain a little weight.... Good for him!
My body hurts every day and all I ever did was unload trucks by hand for 5 years
