Ok guys...A beretta 92 has been calling my name for months. Got the christmas bonus today, so its time. Who has the best deals on berettas? Cabelas had them for 600 which seemed a little high.

Also I'm debating between a 92/M9 and an M9A1 largely for the rail... What do you guys think? I think it looks sexier without the rail, but Id like to have the option of a light. On the other hand I can flip all of the lights on in my house from my bedroom so maybe a light is moot.

Have you looked the new 92FS compacts?  They come with a rail.  Perhaps an older Vertec is more to you liking.

Ha..not that good! I did see that the other day and immediately thought to wait. Then I realized it had a threaded barrel and so I would imagine if they do even come out with a non threaded version, then its not going to be for quite a while.
