Have not tried it yet but seems like it will be an effective brace for my Gen 3 21 "Assault Weapon" Pistol.

^^^ Thanks.  Will see if this knock off adapter holds up.  Required some minor fileing to get it to fit but seems solid and a fraction of the cost of the original:

^^^ And yet sig sends a copy in every sig brace box.  We can start the clock... many said the same thing about the following but as far as I know slide fires are still for sale.

Wrong, in the upper right region of the letter is a particular set of numbers that are reference case identifiers for others to use for this position ruling (think of it as similar to case law use in judicial rulings).
Call them and ask, hope you learn something, but don't spread ignorance.

Pissed for not checking website.  Range closed today for "girls on target".  Wish there was an email distribution list I could get on for range status updates.

Other brace combos w/ G17 and G30.  G30 will require drilling an additional hole in the adapter and it wont work with 30 round magazine.

FYI that the same letter goes out (from Sig) for the AK SB-47 pistol brace despite being an entirely different firearm.  I highlight the below with respect to the various systems on which this is being employed (without letter specific to the firearm type) but does not represent my intended use.

Go to 3:18 for an MP5 clone "pistol"... another weapon system for which no letter exists.

Sig556... another weapon system for which no letter exists:

The only letter refers to AR-15 pistol.  It does not refer to HK MP5 clone, it does not refer to AK47 type pistols, it does not refer to Sig556 type pistols.

I like that the mount acts as a rear sight when nothing mounted.

Unfortunately my suppressor was too dirty and the piston locked up.  Still debating the brace but the mount with T1 and side charger are nice.

Didn't adjust the T1 from 50yd zero on my Mossberg SBS but was good enough for govt work.

Thought that was the only point in having one, since the ATF said it is okay.
