Where did you come up with $3500?

I didn't come up with with $3500, the people doing the sale came up with the price.
I talked to them yesterday. My wife handed me her I-Pad showing the sale, I said call her up and get and get some prices. My wife has been friends with her since grade school.
They came to the price because they saw the 1050 on the internet selling for $3800. yes $3800.
They are nice people, we have been to their house for parties and they have to our house, they are just misinformed on firearms and related shooting things.
Wife was thinking of taking a copy of the Blue Press over to their house to help them on their prices.

Wife gave them a Blue Press, and explained that the elec. plug was for the case feeder and press was not full auto like they believed. She all told them to make sure it was a 1050 because the same case feeder fits both 650 & 1050, also 1050 only came with a 1 year warry. and it's used.

Think this is where price came from.

If it's an estate sale or auction with firearms you can forget about getting a deal on anything. People will come from everywhere to pay stupid prices for firearms at auctions or sales and the organizers know it.

Depends on your definition of winning I guess. Paying $750 for an old Wingmaster that the pawnshop has half a dozen of sitting on the rack for much less money isn't my idea of winning. An old 700 with a cheap scope will be an $800 rifle.

The only one I regretted not going was an auction off a private range. Lots of steel that no one really wanted, friend of mine spent $1,100 or so and ended up with a Texas star and a ton of other targets. I think the star cost him about $300.
